If your IKEA order is ready at Festival City or Jebel Ali and you have no way to get it home, this is the service for it. We collect furniture you have already bought, including a completed Click and Collect order, and deliver it to your apartment, villa, or office, often the same day.
We do not shop for you. We move what is already paid for.
IKEA Already Delivers. So Why Book Us?
Is This Different From IKEA's Own Delivery?
Yes, and the difference matters more than most people realise until they are standing at the collection counter with a trolley and no car. IKEA sells two separate things: home delivery, which you book and pay for at checkout, and Click and Collect, which only gets your order to the store counter. Click & Collect orders are not eligible for IKEA's own delivery or assembly service once placed. If you chose Click and Collect, or bought in person at the till, getting the furniture home is entirely on you.
This service also helps in three other situations:
Your building has access that a standard delivery slot does not account for, such as a service lift that needs its own booking, or a walk-up with no lift.
You bought in the showroom rather than online, so no delivery was ever attached to the order.
You need it sooner than the next available delivery window.
If none of that applies, your order is a simple online purchase going to a ground-floor home, and you are not in a rush, IKEA's own delivery is usually the better and cheaper option, since it is often free above a set order value and can arrive the same day if placed early enough in the day. We would rather tell you that upfront than book a job you did not need.
How Click and Collect Actually Works?
You place the order and pay for it in full, since Click & Collect cannot be paid for in cash on delivery. IKEA prepares it, and you get a second email and an SMS once it is ready at the collection point. Going before that notification means there is nothing to collect yet.
To book a pickup, send us:
- The order number and what is on it
- Confirmation it is ready, plus any release code IKEA gave you
- Your delivery address, floor, and lift or stairs situation
- Parking or loading access at both ends
- When you want it collected and delivered
Check the Box Count Before You Leave the Store
This is the single most useful thing you can do and almost no one mentions it. A wardrobe or bed frame is rarely one box. It is usually three or four. Match what you are loading against your order confirmation while you are still at the collection point. A missing box is a fast fix there and a much longer problem once you have left. While you are checking, look for crushed corners too. Staff can often swap a damaged box on the spot.

The vehicle we send depends on the actual order, its package count, length, and weight, not the category printed on the receipt. This also covers furniture you already own if it needs to move between rooms, floors, or homes. If you are furnishing an entire place rather than moving a single order, our man and van service is the better fit. Handling Flat Pack Furniture in Dubai's Heat
Cardboard packaging is efficient, not tough, and Dubai’s climate adds risks that generic moving advice does not cover.
- Heat affects the glue. A closed, loaded vehicle sitting in direct sun for too long can soften the adhesive on laminated panels. We keep loaded time short instead of letting a van sit in the heat.
- Corners fail first. Cardboard corners are the only real protection on wardrobe and shelf panels. Heavy flat items should sit on the bottom, and long panels should lie flat rather than stand on edge.
- The hardware bag is easy to lose. Screws, dowels, and cam locks are taped inside the box. If a box is opened before loading for any reason, check that the bag is still there. Losing it costs nothing at pickup and an entire afternoon at assembly.
Getting Furniture Into Your Building

Apartments. Service lifts, loading bays, and, in some towers, a move permit is needed before the lift can even be booked. Tell us your floor and lift situation when you book.
Villas. Access to the property is usually simple. The distance from where we park to your front door is not always, especially with a long wardrobe panel.
Offices. Loading zones, security sign in, and delivery windows tied to building hours. JLT towers in particular fall under DMCC’s Concordia rules, which restrict material deliveries to set windows, generally early morning and early evening, outside standard business hours. If your office is in JLT, tell us the building name so we can time the delivery inside its actual allowed window rather than guessing.
Assembly Is a Separate Job
Delivery does not include assembly. Your options are IKEA’s own paid assembly, booked at the time of order, a dedicated assembly service, or the instruction sheet and some time set aside. We can time delivery around an assembler’s visit even though we are not the ones building it.
One safety point regardless of who assembles it: tall units like PAX and BILLY ship with the anti-tip wall bracket included in the box, but the actual screws and wall plugs are not included and need to be bought separately for your specific wall type. Skipping this step is a genuine safety risk, not a formality. It is worth asking your assembler directly whether they fitted it, since it is the one step that is easy to skip when everyone is focused on getting the doors to hang straight.
What Happens to Your Old Furniture
If you are replacing something you already own, we can take the old piece away on the same trip if you mention it when booking, and dispose of it through the correct channels. For a larger clear-out, our old furniture and junk removal service is the better option.
Dubai Municipality also runs a free bulk waste collection for residents, arranged by sending a WhatsApp message to 800900. It usually takes around three days from the pickup request; items generally need to be left at ground level or the building entrance since crews do not carry items down from upper floors, and the free service does not currently cover every zone in the city, including some free zones. It is worth confirming your specific building qualifies before relying on it, which is exactly why our same-trip removal exists as a faster, door-to-door alternative.
As for packaging, a single wardrobe order can leave you with more cardboard than one bin collection handles. Ask at booking if you want it cleared with us instead of sitting in the hallway.
What Affects the Price
There is no flat rate because one IKEA order can mean a single small box or a full room’s worth of components. What actually changes the price:
- A base fee for one standard order to a straightforward address
- Extra packages, or anything unusually long or heavy
- Floors with no lift, or a lift that needs its own booking
- Distance between the collection point and the delivery address
- Add ons such as assembly coordination, old item removal, or cardboard clearance
For example, a single Click & Collect box such as a lamp or a side table sits at the base fee. A KALLAX or a bed frame with three to four packages and one flight of stairs sits a step above that. A full PAX wardrobe with a wall lift booking, or a delivery on to Palm Jumeirah or out to Arabian Ranches, sits higher again once distance and access are factored in. We confirm the actual figure once we know the order and the building, before anything is booked, so you are never quoted blind and never charged more than what was agreed.

Can This Happen Today?
Sometimes. It depends on whether the order is ready, where it is sitting, vehicle availability, and your building’s access. IKEA’s own same-day delivery runs on orders placed before midday, with its own cutoff and limited slots. Ours runs on a different schedule, so ask us directly rather than assuming it lines up with theirs.

Give us the pickup location. It could be a store, showroom, warehouse, Festival City, Jebel Ali, a private seller’s home, or anywhere else in Dubai.
3. Tell us where it needs to go
Send the delivery address and let us know the floor, lift or stairs, parking situation, and anything else we should know about the building.
4. We check what the job needs
Based on the appliances, quantity, pickup point, access, and delivery address, we confirm the suitable vehicle and handling requirements.
5. We confirm the price before pickup
You get the delivery price before you commit. No guessing about the cost after the appliance has already been collected.
6. We collect, transport and deliver
We pick up the appliances, transport them to the destination, unload them, and place them where agreed. Job done.
